Theckla and Beale have a reception! Not just any reception…a funky, fresh dance party with all the “Right Stuff”, winky face. Delicious eats, sweet treats, yummo-wedding cake and a band that won’t quit! Light up tambourines, “sunglasses at night” and booty shaking were on the menu too. I wanted to get a take from Theckla and Beale’s right hand woman and wedding planner extraordinaire, Carla Eustache, on this festive fete!

Carla writes: One of the favorite parts of my job is the initial design meeting with the bride and groom. I love hearing about their story, what they like, don’t like and how they envision their wedding day. The design meeting with Theckla and Beale was very exciting! They presented to me six vibrant pantone colors that they equally loved, but needed help bringing it all together. How fun I thought, a bold and colorful uptown wedding! We quickly decided to infuse all six colors in different ways. A sunny yellow and daring pink became our statement colors with additional hues of teal, blue, purple and lime as our accent colors. The wedding was a reflection of Theckla and Beale’s jubilant love of life and each other. They wanted a fun and colorful celebration with family and friends. Lucking out on the best weather of the summer, Theckla and Beale’s guests enjoyed spectacular city views, Chick-fil-a nuggets, a special request of the bride, John Daly cocktails, a southern favorite and the high energy Heather Hayes Band Experience. The wedding was beautiful and I am honored to have been able to play a role in Theckla and Beale’s special day.
