We love focusing on portraits that are classically elegant, timeless and even a bit traditional. But every once in a while, we love to experiment and ride an edge of vision that has some avant garde qualities about it; we call these sessions “artsy fartsy.”

Being lovers of music and art, combining the two mediums in portraits of a talented original like Steven Engler makes your shutter just pop with joy!

Steven is our neighbor, client and fellow wedding vendor with his band of ten years, The Fabulous Swingin’ Richards. We’ve seen them rock and groove a wedding reception like nobody’s business. It reminds us of when in movies the “famous band” is breezing through the small town and decides to pop in and play a gig at the frat house…that kind of frenzy and electric feel.
